Im going to put a pair of scartchers on my 2010 Rmk 155.
i noticed the holes have already been drilled out on the rail.
Now do the idler wheels HAVE to be removed? or can the scrathers still fit in there?
anyone put scrathers on there iq rmk and have my answer?

Thanks!

I put RSI ice scratchers on my 09 155 and i left all the stock wheels on! they fit perfect and only took like 5 minutes to install...

just something i found to make the job easier was to lift the back end of the sled up off the ground a ways.

this way you wont be trying to fight the tension of the scratcher hitting the floor while your putting them on!

hope this helps

Awesome!
Now did you put your scratchers in to the holes that were already pre drilled on the rail?

If using the scratchers that came with the sled.. front idlers have to be removed. I was told that you did not need the idlers with the scratchers... I do smell my hifax with the idlers removed. I need scratchers even in good snow conditions to keep my assault under 170... with scratchers down runs at 120. I am now putting on slide kicks and putting front idlers back on after forgetting to put them up in reverse and destroying them duh...

i picked up a pair of holtz scrathers, they popped right on there. i left all wheels on, and the scrathchers didnt interfere with anything.

Hi...I found this old posting on ice scratcher's and I'm hoping I can get some help on where to install the HOLTZ ice scratcher's on my 2002 Polaris 700 Edge/RMK.....???
Do the frt. idler wheels have to be removed ???? and if so, do they go back on with the scratcher's on???? Seems odd to me, to be running without the idler wheels.

The instructions will say to remove the front idler wheel and use the existing hole (and no, they will not be able to be remounted if you follow their instructions). I drilled my holes behind the front wheel and was able to reinstall the front idler.

Here is a picture of my old set up on my Dragon, but this will work the same on your Edge. (nice hole for picture of the scratcher huh?)
