have my timber sled ski assembled with ice age rails with the cat adjuster set up. need to know axle set up to run. i assume cat stuff?

I also have Iceage rails with the Arctic cat design. I bought the 3 wheel axle assembly from the local Arctic Cat dealer, but didn't want Arctic cat wheels, so I bought some WPS 8" wheels. Sounds good, right? Well, I guess the bearings in the Arctic cat wheels are 12mm width and the WPS bearings are 15mm width. Now I must shorten the arctic cat spacers to make up for the extra bearing width of the WPS wheels. Not a big deal, but it sure has been a pain in the a$$ rounding up everything I need, then finding out it won't fit unless I make some modifications. I guess it probably would have helped if the guy at the dealership would have known anything about sleds! Go with the choice that keeps things simple for yourself, even if it costs a little more!

Go with the ice age axle. Then you know it will all fit. Trust me!!!
haha.. there are so many different versions of the IceAge rails out there make sure you discuss in detail with Mike before you order.

I went with the MMP AC 2 Wheels axle.

motleyone is the mountain machines axle cut for the 15 wide bearing? im running into the same problem as mtnmodviper. i have the 15 wide bearing set up in mm wheels. i bought an axle from mike and it was cut for the 12mm wide bearing. i had it machined by a buddy and should work, ill see when i get it back. but not crazy that the bolt hole goes all the way thru. and a 10 inch long bolt . seem like the weak link since its a hollow 20mm axle.

sledskiing- i see your running a mm offset axle. are those nine's?

Did you buy them from Ice Age powder coated or did you have it done?
And by who that looks great!!!!!!!!

If you buy a set of Mtn. Tamer Rails directly from Timbersled Products you will need Arctic Cat track adjusters and an Arctic Cat M Series axle assembly. All other hard ware including hyfax comes with the rails. You can run 2,3, or 4wheel combinations. If you want to run an after market
set up order for an Arctic Cat M Series. If you buy Mtn. Tamer Rails directly from Ice Age Manufacuring, then you will have to ask Mike what parts you will need. Thank You, Budd
