Got a call from New York today(actually been trying to get a hold of me all week, wouldnt talk to the wife)saying that my name was picked from a draw I entered at a Snowmobile Show and I won a FREE Florida/Bahamas cruise !!! All I had to do was give up my visa # and let him charge $299 US x 2(me and the wife) and I would be transferred to bookings for confirmation....YA RIGHT !!!
I was skeptical,so he threw in a trip to Puerto Vallarto AND a trip to Las Vegas and free car rental with unlimitd milage and free hotels and all inclusive everything to try and win me over. When I still wasnt convinced,he dropped the price of the original cruise to $398 US for 2 people. When I told him I wanted to discuss it with the wife....HE HUNG UP....LOL.
WTF...cant believe that scams like this can originate from liscensed venues. I was all excited until they asked for my visa # and of course, all alarms go off.
Figured I would google "florida bahamas cruise" and see what happened. Some not so good sites came up along with some scam warnings.
Check it out...post your thoughts.

Anyone else win this free trip from a Snowmobile show?

I won something like that when I was a senior in high school.

Funny thing was...I never sighned up for anything. LOL

My dad told em to F-off. LOL

Man why did your dad have to be a fun hater? Just jealous you were gonna be out partying while he was at home.

I always ask for a number that I can call them back on. 9/10 they won't give you one. Obvious scam if they won't.

Most of these "deals" are some sort of time share thing. You are obligated to attend a "short" (5 hours or so) time share presentation.
