It has gotten to the point of where I feel that enough is enough. Yes, the BRC is very helpful, and so is SAWS, but I think that now is the time that we start creating grass roots organizations to help us protect our riding areas. I live in Sheridan, Wyoming, where the headquarters of the Wyoming Wilderness Association is www.wildwyo.org. Our voices are not being heard. I think that it is time that I start something to combat their initiatives. Can anyone help me get non-profit status for the State of Wyoming? If anyone else in Wyoming is interested in joining me, please speak up, and let me know. Also, I encourage everyone out there to get involved, and create more grass roots organizations to protect our riding areas. I feel like it is a one sided story out there, and the public is rather uninformed about snowmobiles.

Please help me!

Well, you might want to talk to Dave at SAWS.

But, I'd suggest you contact your state snowmobile association, and BRC, and even SAWS, and coordinate your groups work with there's. I think they'd be open to you.

like I said on your post in General.... if you see a gap in the available resources, why not build on what is already available and offer to fill those gaps? The old "power in numbers" comes to mind here - let's focus our energies as a first try rather than dividing them....

Great ideas from all of you!
