Dont know about the moto trax but 'i will say I have seen some aro's with the resi shocks and cmx kits going real hard. Of course you'll want the forks dialed in as well.

The biggest difference i’ve seen for trails is getting some forks built specificly for snowbiking.

Convex track, skinnier the better.

My old aro kit did really good for high speed whoops.

Brockstar racing will build forks for $300. (Includes springs and valving)
It’s transformational.........

Install a polyurethane ski rubber (dura pro is good) 10” timbersled ski, triple point carbide.

Move your pegs back 2” or so.

Bars back the same.

Whip it.

What sheetmetalfab said --- I like the Aro Ski just fine lighter is better out front. For sure good shocks forks and moving rider weight to the centre of the bike and kit is where it is at. CMX -- Yeti -- ARO are the 3 I am aware of where it is possible to get very tight between bike and Kit to have the best Weight and Balance. I also like the TSS but have to have it at 400 PSI to keep it from excessive movement. It does take the edge out of the real hard G out hits.

I have a 2018 Mototrax 129 Mountain with 2019 Upgrades with 10 hours on it. I would say if you want to go fast on the whoop-de-doos, in corners on goomed trails, and jump high I'd recommend this kit. It looks just like new. I'm asking $3200 and cost over $6k with fox shock and all upgrades.

I have no doubt the suspension is great but the bike to kit geometry is wrong.

I suggest you try riding the different bikes and see for yourself.

THERE IS A LIMMIT TO HOW STIFF YOU CAN MAKE A FORK TO MAKE UP FOR POOR WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
The Achilles heel( Greek Dude -- history) of the snowbike is poor weight distribution with a to ski heavy bias. This needs to be fixed for it to handle properly and nowhere is that more important than in the whoops.
Mototrax throws away at least 3" the wrong way by having the kit mounted so far back, there is no way to make up for that.
Some kits have a edge due to their designs, thats all. After that it is al set up.

If you’re looking into used kits, check out the 2016+ SX120’s, my set up is a 16 SX120 on a 17 husky 450– I run TSS cranked up past 400 PSI, I can rip 4th and 5th gear on the gas down a whooped out trail, and I do some fair size jumps, everything works awesome! I did the warranty on the rails tho.

This kit does suit a more aggressive riding style tho, as it is skinnier soo momentum is your friend
