Look at what states Bush carried in 2000, then again in 2004, and look at what states John McCain won in 2008.

It's pretty simple.

The liberal whackos populate the coastal regions of the country mainly, and the normal people who actually work their asses off for a living live in the middle of the country, and primarily the continental oil and gas producing states.

Look who voted for who..

I seriously think America needs to split into 3 different countries.

I am sick and tired of California, or I guess now after this election, Californado , dictating what I can and can't do...

For all I know the job I was supposed to start next week just got kabashed, and they're gonna tell me to take a hike before I even start

Maybe I'll get lucky and get 6 months worth of work out of it so I can at least maybe get my truck and 4-wheeler paid off before the entire economy crashes ... what I mean is, the guy we just elected has publicly stated he wants to destroy the last bastion of the US economy that is doing well right now ... IE, the coal industry and the oil and gas industry.

i am so f*cking pissed right now.

I hear you friend! I am ready to revolt right now!

The states that vote conservative are the states that have lower crime rates, closer knit communities and people take care of themselves, etc. Plain and simple.

Heck, even government studies have shown conservatives are happier than liberals on average.

Just be glad you don't live next door and have all of the idiots who don't like to pay taxes move to your state and then turn your very Red State; Blue.

I work with a liberal who came from the east coast.....he is one strange moron. He always seems pissed off and he is the laziest POS I have ever seen.

I still can't believe Colorado voted for Obama.

I think that is a direct result of what a spiraling minority (read: illegal mexicans) population does to the voting demographic

Yes, you are right. The last poll I heard (late last week) had McCain leading among caucasians, but Obama had about 70% of the Hispanic vote...

All joking aside, I believe that memberships for groups like that and other constitution type groups.......the membership is going to skyrocket.

I don't believe that it is a good thing, but in all reality I think it will happen.

Yesterday was the day of the left, and they acheived their goals. They are no longer democrats but are leftists.
Today is the first day of the new conservative party. We need to look at this as a time of hope and a time to step up and be heard. Join the revolution. Oprah said yesterday that the nation was more united than it was on 9/12 and that is total BfreakinS. The left was united, not the nation. Now its time for us to unite and make a stand for what we beleive. If we dont, we lose our country in the next 8 years.

I think we should have every state alotted the same amount of electoral votes...

That would really change the election. The Dems would have to start campaining in states that normally go Republican in order to win. The way its setup now the Dems take 20 states to win the election, the Republicans use many smaller states and a few larger states to win their elections. The Dems only have to win the west coast, northeast, and great lakes area to win the election.

Groups like the AB,KKK and so on are not groups that have "THE AMERICAN DREAM IN MIND" they are just hate groups. Trust me i've known a few of there "MEMBERS",what a bunch of lossers!!! But this thing of a black liberal pesident is way f@@@ing out of line. I mean the basic family values at play in the white house now ARE NOT AMERICAN!! And yes skin color does play into what i'm talking about!!!!!!!

Ok, lets take a serious look at what happened on tuesday.
I mean a real look. All partisan bs aside.

The last time the liberals were in charge was during Jimmy Carters reign.
It has been 30 years. People have forgotten or were to young to remember what happened and why the libs were so roundly defeated.

They did a national pole a week before the election and it showed some interesting stuff.
Things like, people that were voting for Obama didn't like his tax idea, others didn't like his energy idea, others didn't want anything to do with his war idea.
But they were going to vote for him anyway.

Why?

Something different.
Most of the people voting for Obama wanted a change. They had no idea what that change was or what was going to happen. They just wanted change.

Now the black vote was his just because of his skin color. Lets face it.
He nailed the hispanic vote because of his pledge to grant amnesty in the first 100 days.
He had the under 30 crowd because they wanted to get away from the conservative party and change up government.
And he had the liberal vote.
That is how he won. Plain and simple.

The conservative party needs to get it's act together. They had their chance and blew it. They got all wrapped up in the fact they had the power and they didn't know what to do with it or else they got were more intested in having power than using it. They need new blood. We need a third party with new ideas and ways of doing buisness.

You have the liberals.
Believe that it's the governments job to take care of the people. Regardless of the hardship to anyone that doesn't need their help. They believe that the american people will adapt and the economy will adapt to ANYTHING they do. They tried that in the 70's and it didn't work.

YOu have the conservatives.
They believe it is the governments job to make it possible, but it is up to you to get it done. When BUsh started his "outsorcing" project that sent millions of jobs overseas it was the beginning of the end for the republicans. You have had 2 wars under the last 2 conservatives. You had Iraq 1 under Bush senior, then you had Clinton, then you had Iraq 2 under Bush junior.

This is what the youth of american has seen.
Bush senior's war.
Clinton, balanced the budget, very well spoken and liked. They could care less about zipper gate, most thought it was funny.
Bush juniors war. Failing economy, unemployment, wages going down.

Gee, why do you think Obama won?
They could have put up charles manson and he would have won.
I think the next 4 years will be a serious eye opener for the youth of this country. We just have to try and keep the libs from completing their New Deal 2.
