Hopefully it's still snowing up high.......it's 56 degrees @ 7:00 this morning here!

All that beautiful snow on Stevens pass has morphed into chocolate milk and has now parked itself in the normally quiet little stream in my back yard and is threatening my property this morning....AGAIN, for the second time this year

Lucky for me my friggen back kept me from going to work this morning so at least I'm trapped here at home to look after things until the water drops.

I couldn't get out to ride even if the back would let me.
There is 4 feet of water over the only road out of my little slice of heaven that is Sultan.

And it's still coming up.

I still have a huge pile of snow blocking my garage so my Chevelle is trapped in the garage so I hope the forcasters are right about how high the river is going to get.

At 21 feet my car gets wet...

Sorry, what was this thread about? :D

Alright that's it! Everyone to Adrenaline's house with sand bags! We can't let a Chevelle get wet!!! Especially a '68! Nice car. Mine's in my shop. Hopefully I won't have to worry about it getting wet. If I do, the Chevelle will be the last thing on my mind as my house floats away!:face-icon-small-win

I'd offer up my garage to store it for you but I just to a peek down my road and I'm flooded in with 5 feet or more over the road.... Time to bring out the RC boat with the weed whacker Homlite engine in it.

I had one of those a few years back. I tried an overly large "Whacker" motor in it and I it sunk in the slough in Marysville.
I only got about 15 minutes of fun out of it but it was dam fast for those 15 minutes though!:D

Just got back from a little reconnaissance mission to the "Devils Elbow" on the only road out of here.
3+ feet over the road and flowing pretty good.
Some guy in a lifted truck went through it and all I can say is I hope his door seals are good because the water was only about a foot below his door handles....Moron

Hopefully the flood graph( http://ahps2.wrh.noaa.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=sew&gage=glbw1&view=1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 ) is correct and if the prediction of the river cresting @ 18 feet holds then I'll be OK but the truck is backed up to the sled trailer and the Chevelle is ready to be moved if necessary.

'Till then, I got lots of new movies to watch and a couch with my name on it!

No, it was a Chevy.
I'm surprised it was actually running.

" This is Onstar, how can I help you?"
...I just went through a river and my diesel wont run now and I can't get a hold of Fordman to bail me out again" :D :D
