i need measurements of the upper and lower A arms in 2006 Polaris RMK 900

Does someone have a drawing or measurements of the upper and lower A arms in 2006 Polaris RMK 900?
I am building a stronger A arms than the junk that comes original in those sleds

I don't know the numbers, but I would be very careful of overbuilding them. The A-arms are designed to fail before causing damage to the bulkhead.

Just something to consider:beer;

yeah i know :) but there must be some middle way..
Those stock ones rust and brake during a summer storage and then brake all out of nowere.. 1mm is just not thick enough

Timbersled, Zbroz and Holz all make stronger arms than stock out of chromoly. Polzinhunter is testing Billet ones for Cobe. I'm pretty sure you can make them stronger than the stock ones.

I've rode the crap out of my '06 900 RMK for 5 1/2 seasons so far and have not f'd up an a-arm. I don't believe for a minute that they are junk. Definitely a little heavy, but not junk. They don't fail for no reason. What are you hitting ???

What kind of terrian do you ride in ? That says alot about it

I read in the IQ section that Holz made up a set of A-arms from Titanium. This has to be the ultimate set up for strength and weight reduction in metal.
Does anyone know if there are Titanium fabricators out there that can reproduce these.

Also, just got the skinny on the 2013 800 Pro R...It will be 12lbs lighter than the 2010 600R. The modular frame construction is gonna be the way to reduce weight. Also consider that Carbon Fiber has the absolute best strength to weight ratio and can hand vibration stress better than the aluminum mono construction. Look at Boeing and Airbus developments.
The pieces can be bolted together too. Just a matter of time:clock:
