i need a new helmet, Troy lee sc3 or shoei vfx-w?

Does anyone have experience with these helmets? I love the way both of them feel and both of them come in solid black which is what i want. Just looking for some real world snowmobile experience. Also wondering what goggles fit and work good with either of these helmets. Thanks for your help.

I really like my troy lee designs helmet! I just wear spy goggles with it and it works great!

Troy lee is great but the Shoei is probably the best helmet every made, fits like a glove and looks cool as %&^#!

I've run the TLD for 2 years...

Loved the fit and finsish... I needed more ventillation though and went with the Klim F4.... Loving it.... I run the 509 Aviators and 89 xi's with it....prefer the Aviators.

i run the tld se-2 with spys, and love it. you will have to figure out a snow, breath deflector on your own, as they dont come with them for either of your choices. i opted for the no fog mask set up. kind of a hassle at first but, once you get a system down it works well. here is my set up in action. ski

When you say love the way they feel...do you mean they both fit your head? Just want to make sure.

No first hand knowledge of either lid so I can't say other then buy a lid that fits your head the best.

yeah they both fit really well. That is what i meant by i like the way they feel.

i just picked up a tld se2 and love it so far only used it for dirtbike but my sled goggle 509 sinisters and scott whatevers with the nose piece fit plenty of room in face guard area more than my fly
i have no experience with shoei
