If you need the 18 degree flywheel for a PERC install, you can get your CDI reprogrammed for your 14 degree wheel for cheaper than new. I had Pro5 racing reprogram mine and it was one of the better performance mods I've had done to my 2002 700 edge.

What does the 14 vs. 18 degree denote? A wider range of pick up for the CDI to know crank position and is 18 req'd for PERC to work correctly? I've been changing flywheels when adding PERC.

When they reporgram the CDI does it just have a better map?

harness isnt different, it just need 18 deg instead of th2 14 of the 02, the new cdi id from an 03.

OFFSET TIMING KEY

where can i pick one of those up?

Bikeman, SLP, most aftermarket sled / ATV shops sell them

Arctic Cat and POLARIS should be the same in case there's not a seperate listing for POLARIS.

Hope this helps

3.5 degree offset timing key.

i cant seem to find a 4 degree, max ive seen is 3.5

The 3.5* will work fine

there's more than a 1/2 degree inaccuracy in these things from the factory.

Think about it, Honestly, when's the last time you checked the timing on your sled?

If you think for a moment that the dealer checked it as part of the "$100.00 dealer prep" think again.

But the 3.5* key, pull the rope and go, you'll be fine.
