I looked in manual for drive chain dipstick - but I have no clue where they're saying its at, and worse...I'm not seeing it under the hood anywhere. Maybe I need stronger reading glasses - where should I look for it on a '99 MM 700?
We did a 45 mile poker ride Sunday and I was hearing a low hum that I haven't heard before - my first thot was I need to check the oil level in that drive box.
Sled did run better with airbox back on vs. K&N filters. Only bogged down a little when going thru a bumpy section for a couple miles. Otherwise it ran a whole lot better then previous weekend's poker ride. Pretty country up there and some open fields full of powder to play in.
Next I'll remount the coils and CDI box back to the airbox. Currently, coils are bolted on to back side of head and CDI box is ziptied onto antifreeze line.
