Amazing how life moves forward quicker than you think. 5 years ago today my older brother Tim Robinson passed away at the age of 33. We were snowmobiling at the top of Farmington Peak, when he became very uncomfortable with chest pains and symptoms of what turned out to be a heart attack 5 minutes later. It was something very unexpected, and certainly very life changing.
Tim was a wonderful, fun loving, giving person. There are very few that didn't go away from a conversation with Tim not feeling better about themselves. He was always more interested in other people, than he was about himself (which is something that he has taught me). It's amazing the things that people teach you, and you don't even realize it. I didn't realize it until it was too late, but my older brother Tim was my best friend, and made my life much better.
He left behind a great wife, Megan, 2 boys Jaxon and Dillan who are now 12, and 11, a wonderful daughter Abbi who is now 8 years old, and never had the chance to meet his to be born daughter (Megan was 2 months pregnant at the time) Kate. She is a wonderful, vibrant, beautiful 4 year old.
I miss you man, and every time I go riding I think of you, because you would be with me (I know you are), which was most of the time.
His family is doing great, his wife Megan has since remarried to a great guy that has taken on their 4 children and is raising them like his own, as well as they have another son together. I couldn't ask for a better situation for his family considering. Tim was an avid snowest poster, was always sharing a story, a picture, or a "let's go riding" story. It is/was what makes SW great, it brings people together.

Love you man, and miss you every day!

Thanks for sharing. :rose: It's an awesome thing when you have someone touch your heart in such a way that you never forget them. I'm sure he is watching over his family and you with a big smile on his face.

Scott,

My heart goes out to you and to your family.

You are in my prayers today especially.

I sure hope it works out to ride together this season.

Scotty- great post! I only met him briefly and it was through snowmobiling. He seemed like an amazing person! I know how much I love sledding, hunting, and everything else with my bro's so that is a great loss.

Scott your a good dude, It was a great ride the other day I had a blast. Im so sorry for your loss, its a good thing those kids have a great uncle looking out for em. Bless your heart bro! Lets get a kid ride put togather and show em how good a hot dog tastes at 9000'!

I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family have gone through. God bless you guys! Thanks for sharing. Posts like this bring me closer to my own family and I appreciate your thoughts. Take care.

That is a touching tribute to your brother. Sounds like he was a great guy. Losing a brother at any age sucks. Being a youngster (@33) is way to young to pass on. I used to ride with my brothers helmet on so I felt like I had a part of him with me. Between the two of us, we wore it out!
I wish I could tell you it gets easier but it doesn't. I lost my Bro 18 years ago and it stilll bothers me he's gone.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

Nice post Scott!! Make sure you show those kids the sport their dad loved!!

My brothers wifes brother(follow that?) died last wk at 32. Woke up in the morning to get ready to go snowmobiling and didn't make it out of his bed room! Massive blood claught let loose and he died instantly!! 3 girls 7 and twin 5's. You just never know what day is going to be your last so make damn sure you enjoy it!

I remember that. Rode with Tim a week before... sad deal for sure... :brokenheart: he did send some freshies and blue skies for ya today though :face-icon-small-hap

Don't feel like I need to post, but you know you have my support

Sorry for your loss. If anyone doesn't know Snottie, I will tell you, if his brother Tim was anything like him, he was probably a phenomenal person.
Scott's, been like a brother to me and I couldn't be more grateful. Thinking of you bud. Call me when you are free. We will be back Sat.

Scott....I think we kind of met through your tragedy!?! 5 years passes too quickly! It is awesome to see that your bro's family is doing so well! I had a great time riding with you Monday!

Great post my brother and I where never very close till he got his mission call last year after that we spent every day we could up on the mountain riding till he found out he had to have knee surgery and couldn't go. Since last year we have become very close and love riding together any chance we have. I am sorry for your loss but glad to see how positive things are.

Great Post
