Amazing how life moves forward quicker than you think. 5 years ago today my older brother Tim Robinson passed away at the age of 33. We were snowmobiling at the top of Farmington Peak, when he became very uncomfortable with chest pains and symptoms of what turned out to be a heart attack 5 minutes later. It was something very unexpected, and certainly very life changing.
Tim was a wonderful, fun loving, giving person. There are very few that didn't go away from a conversation with Tim not feeling better about themselves. He was always more interested in other people, than he was about himself (which is something that he has taught me). It's amazing the things that people teach you, and you don't even realize it. I didn't realize it until it was too late, but my older brother Tim was my best friend, and made my life much better.
He left behind a great wife, Megan, 2 boys Jaxon and Dillan who are now 12, and 11, a wonderful daughter Abbi who is now 8 years old, and never had the chance to meet his to be born daughter (Megan was 2 months pregnant at the time) Kate. She is a wonderful, vibrant, beautiful 4 year old.
I miss you man, and every time I go riding I think of you, because you would be with me (I know you are), which was most of the time.
His family is doing great, his wife Megan has since remarried to a great guy that has taken on their 4 children and is raising them like his own, as well as they have another son together. I couldn't ask for a better situation for his family considering. Tim was an avid snowest poster, was always sharing a story, a picture, or a "let's go riding" story. It is/was what makes SW great, it brings people together.
Love you man, and miss you every day!
