I just updated to the latest Firefox!

I have a question. After you download FF, do you uninstall IE or leave it?

Can't uninstall ie. It's an integral part of the OS and required for things like "windows update" to function.

When you get Firefox, get the plugin. There's a few pages I use at work that don't render very well in Firefox, and rather than switching to IE just click the IETab button. Renders the page inside IE inside of a firefox window.

Hey Mule man....

I'm sure it's faster but it looks boring without all the pretty pictures and other such bandwidth robbing sh!t !

It also kinda looks like an old Commodore 64 ! :D

Thanks for the hint about Firefox. I just downloaded it to my PC also and it is MUCH faster.
I'm stuck with dial-up out here in the sticks and it is noticably faster all around.

hahahahaha

glad some good came of my post...

I had firefox on another computer b4 cause it was faster and shortly after I got this computer something funky started happening with IE so I downloaded firefox and it has worked fast and haven't had a single problem with it...

A lot less junk at the head of the page to confuse me too... I like simple, haha;):D

II currently have 32 tabs loaded in 3 separate Firefox windows, still runs smooth as silk.
That is a lot of naked midget wrestling.....lol

I upgraded, found a little difference, but not much.. I have used firefox for a while, mostly for tabs and xmarks makes it so much better for using multiple computers.

The new firefox has porno mode errrrr private browsing (tools < Start private browsing) (no cookies, pop-ups of any kind, history, etc...) which is VERY handy.

On firefox how do you get your bookmarks to open in a new tab? Mine just open in the same tab that I am currently viewing.

Maybe there's a learning curve but I didn't like it. I have Charter high speed and it didn't make anything I found faster.

Anytime you are going to click on a link you can hold down the tab key then click the link to open that page in a new tab. Nice for viewing pics.

Hold apple or control, then click. Holding shift will load opposite your current setting... if i apple-click a link, it opens that link in a new tab... apple-shift-click opens it in a new tab but doesn't toggle to that tab.

Middle-click will do the same, with the same shift-key modifier behavior as well.
