I am looking for some help on tuning my clutch setup. I have a 2007 Summit X 800r with a 159 track. I have a polaris P-85 primary clutch that i put on, it has a blue spring and i have run both 10-58 and 10-60 weights.
It is geared with a 19 tooth top gear. I have a stock 44/40 helix.

I ride mostly above 8000 feet or so. Also, I am a big guy at about 250 with gear on if that affects clutching at all.

Any advice is appreciated

Evan

What pretension is the blue spring? I'd look but I don't have my spring chart here right now. There's no reason that motor shouldn't be able to pull at least 10-60's IMO.

I ran 10-64's up to 6,000ft when I had the P-85. My advice.....go back to the TRA before it's too late.
If that's not an option, then a 44/36 helix in the Doo secondary and make sure the bushing is good, they wear out quick. 120/340 and 10-62's should be good.
