I finally won a battle against a renter!

Long story short my dad owns a tri-plex and one of the apt. have been rented by Tyrell for the past 3 years. He has been a pretty good renter for 99% of the time except his last months check didnt show up and he skipped out of town.

So were out the month he was there plus the next month since no notice etc. etc...anyway we never hear from the guy again. Then a few days ago my dad gets a call from a property mgmt place in Texas, Tyrell is trying to rent again and of course used my dad as a reference. My dad tells this place he was good right up to not paying his last months rent and no notice. The property mgmt place made him pay his last months rent owed to us to them before they would allow him to rent. We recieved his last months rent check from his new property managers!!! So even the good guys win once in a while

BTW, that was extremely cool of the new managers. I wonder how often this happens?

Tyrell doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the shed. Glad it all worked out for you. Karma can be a real B_tch sometimes.
