I feel sorry for the Canadian Dealers.

I was just looking at the new 2011 line up and noticed the price of a new M1000 Sno Pro. MSRP $13,199 USD or $15,999 CDN. The Canadian dollar is worth more that 98c US right now. Do the math. Time for the manufacturers to get real and be fair to the Canadian dealers. I can see alot of canadians skipping accross the border to buy sleds. How about being able to buy a canadian built Ski-doo in the states cheaper than you can buy one in canada. Canadians are getting bent over. There is my 2 cents on the dollar.

yup we really do get screwed up here, it's on everything though from clothing to vehicles

Totally agree! Something should be done, but will probably remain as is.My buiseness is kept afloat with you guys from Canada at about70%, and would like thank everyone. BRP needs to take care of their locals! Someone, somewhere is linning their pockets. Thanks again guys and gals!

If you guys up north will agree to take Obama & Pelosi, I will gladly come up there & Pay DOUBLE for my next sled!

Those two would fit right in with the politicians we have up here!! I have purchased my last two sleds in the USA !!!

Don't buy new ! After a while the manufacturers will get the point. The problem is we just line up and pay a company like BRP 15,000 grand for a pile of junk and then let it gouge us over the next 3 years on belts, parts, and oil. Like 60 bucks for a jug of oil ??????????????? Give me a break !

Stop buying and let them sweat it out for a bit ! We just fuel the fire !

ya then before you know it we will be running to the states get codes removed, belts and parts we have a dealer close to use that puts his customers first, man you should of hear the call i got when i worked at a dealership close to them. people that bought there sled from the states,[mostly drive shaft recall he did all his customers and did others when ever] i thought at first that was just wrong but ,you support me, i will support you[look after you] I THINK ITS CRIMANAL WHAT WE PAY but shopping else were aint the answer other wise we will all be shopping in the states

fella i know goes down to the states, brings home a trailer full of sleds.

sells all the sleds and maybe the trailer keeps one sled for himself and its paid for.

what a good life

This comes up everytime the Canadian and US dollars get close to par. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice....but do you really think manufacturers are going to float their MSRP's along with exchange rates? The problem is that they are 2 entirely different countries that just happen to be close geographically. Everything from toothpaste to trampolines is less expensive in the states.

Maybe it has something to do with 300million yanks, & only 33million canuks. They have way better buying power than we will ever have. But when the dollars are so close, its just pisses you off.

You guys better get here and get your sleds AND see the doctors before they are both gone with these crazy leftist we have in there right now...
