"I dont need a beacon, It's Just a trail Ride!" Yeah right

Was sent this link, of a rider in Colorado just trail ridin and he triggers avy on himself.I don't know of the specifics here, but i always hear excuses from guys, for not having a beacon." Like I only trail ride" ALWAYS BE PREPARED! ALWAYS RIDE WITH A FRIEND!

Avalanches while trail riding is not a myth this video proves that. I have personally set off a slide while on the trail, luckily nobody was buried. Regardless of weather your just going for a leisure trail ride or bangin the backcountry. any time you ride in mountains you should be prepared for the worst. $hit happens. Ride safe guys.
