I did it....

The ammount of information I've found here has saved me at least that much in time and money running around town looking for something that I didn't need in the first place because someone else had a similar issue and a simple fix.

One thing I've found is that some of the loudest opponents won't think twice about dropping $250 on a new helmet because it's this years model, when the other three in the garage (last three years models) will do just fine. They'll pay a dealer $100 to change their oil when $25 for a filter and some oil would get it done. $5000 in mods on a $7000 sled that's still worth $8000 when said and done. I think you get the idea.

It's great if you can find it free, but people need to keep in mind that someone is still paying for the website and their time to keep it up and running. It doesn't do it by itself. Having sponsers only goes so far. When money get's tight, it's tight for them too. The first thing they pull is some of the low priority advertising.

You could've bought another round for your buddies and they'd be more thankful than C would ever be. . .

its the principle. its been free for years, why now, there are still advertisements all over. some greedy numbnut saw a way to line his silk undies. save your hard earned dollars and head over to bcr

I am so tired of the it's the principal comment.:tsk:

I paid on the principal that I am not a tight wad and the principal that a business is in business to make money and should make money and the principal that the entertainment and value are worth the small change required, etc, etc. I'm tired of people making a bigger deal about it than it really should be.

If you don't like it, take your big 21 posts and head on over to bcr....I promise no one will miss you, unless of course you can stop complaining and start contributing.

this is whats killing the site also:face-icon-small-win

what is the solution? Just letting the comments go? I guess it might be?

not letting them go

but telling everyone to leave that speaks up against something?

i dont think there should be any "bad sites" im a member of many sites, dirt snow, bike. each has it's own thing

I never said the other site was a bad site. I only told him that if he doesn't like it, then to leave. If I don't like something I don't do it....pretty simple. Sitting complaining does no good, it only wears people out. Time to move on if it's not what you like. I did imply that if he were to actually contribute something to the site he would be missed if he doesn't he wouldn't. Just thought I would clarify since you seemed to be a little confused as to what my post meant.

sorry i did miss that part about contributing.

i do agree about contributing as you can see many are not right now.

and wasn't saying you said anything about other site being bad but many have.

now everyone pray for snow.. im not ready to get the bikes out yet

Exactly! It IS the principle. Other sites are free and don't take 60 seconds or more to load each page. I haven't been over here in a week and I see I didn't miss anything. Back over to the better site.
