Hi everyone..as most of you know, I got banged up pretty good in a accident this spring and until I get some surgery I am stuck sitting home..I found this thread on a gun forum(not a member there, just a lurker), and I dare each and everyone of you to read it and see if you don't come out of it a better person...and a better American.. Tear did fall, thanks for posting. I've had some medical challenges the last 6 mos as well-not the same but similar to the lymphoma patient. Similar age as well. If all you can do is sit and wait for surgery. Be sure to add in staying positive to that waiting. The mind can heal a lot as well. I've had to really work on that part, in fact it's been the hardest. For me, I know I won't be stopped until my time is up.

Got like 3 pages in. That is a tear jerker for sure. I wonder if the VA is helping him out? Good to see all the encouraging words

For some reason..lifes like that...always figured even the devil didn't want the bad ones any sooner then he had too...and God wanted the good ones asap......

Poor guy.

Makes a guy wish he lived close. Id go visit him for sure. Takes a real man to ask for a shoulder!
Hope he doesn't take what the doctors say and give up.

is tough reading. Had a few family members die slowly so it is sad to read about it.
