My wife gave birth to a 8 lbs 13 ounce baby girl today at 11:34 am. 21 inches long, I am super excited as this is my first kid! I have never felt so darn proud of anything in my life!!

congrats man. Just had mine 3 weeks ago. Proudest damned day of your life!!! There is nothing like a little baby girl and the way she will look at you as her Daddy. Or the way you feel when you show her to the wife for the first time. Brought tears to my eyes.

Course the whole waking up at night is over rated. My advice, keep the wife from pumping as long as possible...then you can't get up to feed at night!
