I have inherited a set of hyperfax. anyone ever use them on a semi-clipped track? any issues? are you happy with them? or should I just go with the stock ones?:beer;

I have had them on a 166 track no boggies use the scratchers when I remember. I pulled the sus out this year after 1500 miles on them and they seriously look BRAND NEW. Good product, use em.

Ran them on my 800 mod with a semi-clipped track and although they held up i wouldn't recommend it. I would fully clip the track then they will handle anything you throw at them. It wasn't so much a problem with the hyperfax as it was with the track. Hyperfax recommends fully clipped.

what happened to the track?

what happened to the track?

In marginal snow the rubber would burn(riders behind me could smell the rubber). Eventually wore the rubber off of the track in the clip area. Actually wore down to the fabric under the rubber, however this didn't wear past that point. Was always concerned about the effect it had on the durability of the track even though it never failed.
