I looked around and could not find any deals. My dealer gives me a pretty good break so I think after tax I was still $155.

That is a lot considering you can buy the stock hyfax for $30.

So I really hope it was worth the extra money. I am also taking into consideration the time I should save by not having to replace them twice this season.

Yamaha's are hard on hyfax!

They are definitely worth it! Rode two seasons on the same set(1 season without/1 season with turbo) and they still look great. Spent a lot of time kicking extra snow on them to keep them cool, but well worth it. Barely worn down to say the least.
