Is it possible to replace the hyfax / wear strips on my King Cat without removing the track? It looks like it is but I just want to make sure. Also are the graphite strips really that much better than the typical plastic ones?

Yes u can replace them without removing the suspension. Just line the windows up in the back with the hyfax and pull them through. They come through kinda hard but will come out. They have a slide hammer tool u can buy that makes it easier but I have never bought one. I just tap the new hyfax back in with a rubber mallet. The other hyfaxes r more slippery than stock plastic ones and will take more heat to melt them. I have never paid the extra myself for them. I have some friends that swear by them though.

It helps alot to loosen the track, the hifax will pull thru the windows easier.
