hyfax question

Friend put new hyfax on and left side was shot and clips were purple....looked at mine after seeing his and put new on and same thing. The right side on both sleds look brand new but the left sides were both shot. Why would that be? Anyone have the samething?

What side is your limiter strap on????

left side...the same side that melted....here's my theroy exhaust coming out blows snow on right side thus keeping it cooler...long shot, but all i could come up with.
