I think there were a pair of guys down at the St Anthony dunes doing that across that 4ft deep lake out there, it was a couple of years ago so I can't remember, but I'm positive the quad guys were doing it, I even did it across the short section on my mod atc 200x!

But I am assuming they had sand tires. A whole lot more scoop than a stock tire, as claimed by the linked website.

Yeah, your right. Didn't think about that until after I chimed in! Pretty impressive to think about a bike doing it, just look at how small the footprint is!

I have done it at the dunes in St Anthony. Paddle tire did not work as well as the stock tire lets you get more speed and keep it. Hard part is keeping your feet on the pegs as the water will try and push them off. Was more like 60ft or less in 3 to 4' water than 110' that's crazy.
