Hybrid trailers

I would like to hear more about these also, i dont have a need for a full enclosed since i dont always have that many people to haul but sometimes i do it be nice to have with a deck, plush the enclosed storage for those longer trips.

The only thing on them that made me wonder was about the smaller wheels. For us when your making 2,000+ mile round trips it's nice to have full size tires. Otherwise when we were looking at them they looked nice and solid and a good option for two sleds. Lots of companies are making them now too.

Had sled deck long before they were mass produced. All trailers from two place open to large deck over enclosed settled on inline 30 footer mpgs don't seem to change much on diesel. With deck never more than 12. Inline trailers get best mpgs. Imo keep all gear and tools ready to ride.

I've been contemplating one as well.. would double as rodent proof storage as well. 90% of the time I use my deck, but it would be nice having the option of a small enclosed that I can pull with sleds on the deck. They come with 13'' wheels too, not just the 10'' shown in the link.

I have a Floe clamshell, 14'. It is extremely well built and pulls like a dream, but it is not without its drawbacks. Headroom is minimal making it hard to start the sleds in the trailer. Also it's a bit of a pain dealing with the loading ramp. Thinking of getting a full size now

As far as storage I have a non insulated enclosed trailer. They sweat in the summer. Not sure what the insulated ones do. $.02

I just bought a new Triton TC128 Hybrid trailer with upgraded wheels to 13" and quad flooring. I have yet to use it but hoping it works out good. Tired of wet/frozen covers and sleds getting thrashed.
It's non insulated and extremely light. 1 guy can move it around if needed which is nice.

Can I ask what abouts you paid for that? Those seem to get crazy expensive when you put any option on them that should come standard.....

Nice looking trailer!

Please post some more photos once you get your sleds in there.

Did the rubber flooring and the flap between the door and floor come installed or did you add it?

Trailer wasn't cheap that's forsure...I can't store a bigger one and most areas we ride you need to unhook and turn trailer around so this is the biggest I wanted to wrestle around.

Only thing I added to trailer are Superglide 2's and I will be adding Caliber trailer grips/bars once they arrive in the mail.

Options according to Tritons website on my trailer are upgraded to 13' Aluminum wheels and spare, quad flooring, fuel door and mine has diamond plate extending high on the front. Includes 5yr warranty.

Any pictures of your sleds in the trailer? You still liking it? I'm thinking of picking one up next fall.

I have one, its the TC118 which is a foot shorter that the TC128 pictured above. It fits both my 162 and 153 Cats no problem.

It is un-insulated and it does sweat, winter and summer.

I don't have a fuel door so I must fuel sleds with 5 gal cans.

It tows like its a lot heavier than it really is. Wind drag I am assuming.

When empty, you can't walk up the ramp unless it is hooked to a tow vehicle. Same as loading/unloading sleds, must be hooked up.

I like it, but I am going to try and sell it and go to an inline next season.
