Hwy 4 - Bear Valley good riding area?

Hello,
Anyone have any experience sledding up Hwy 4 near Bear Valley?
I hear there is a Snow Park location there, but do not know if there are any good snowmobile trails there to make it worth the drive to go up there.
Any groomed trails in the area?

Any information or reports of first hand experience would be appreciated.

There is parking at the gate,trails are groomed,riding is ok,there are alot of wilderness areas where the best riding is.If you are into trail riding,the grooming is excellent.

There is no "cheap" lodging in Bear Valley. Best way is to buy annual SNO-PARK pass for $25 and stay in a RV at the trail head ... for up to 5 days move it one mile then park there another 5 days !

If need a room look at Angels Camp at the East base of HWY 4.

Lots of wilderness and if you wander into it just give them you sled and credit card plus pray they don't close it down.

Best to call the clubs and go on a group ride.

Is it worth it ... oh ya very large meadows and monster climbs PLUS you can link to other trail systems to the north.
