hunting advise

wolves have eaten every last mule deer down by riggins where me and my dad(now 67) have hunted since 1970 soooo i am at a loss as to where to go now! never had the need for a guided hunt, but its getting a little late in the game for dad--- so not really looking for a full guided hunt--cant afford 5 grand each anyway--looking to pay someone a couple grand or maybe trade for his choice of sleddecks to point a finger to some kick *** area--preferably in idaho but not totally neccessary--any ideas what to do?

around my place so. end bitterroot the deer and ,elk ,moose gone. if the wolves were gone today it would probaly take 10 years for the game to recover oh well still got great sledding out my back door... so far

I second that. you won't see many bucks but the ones you do see are trophys. atleast in my experiance!

Don't be fooled. The green area for the Mackenzie Valley Wolf doesn't magically stop at the border. Those SOB's are thick as thieves. In the riggins area they are getting very thick. Seen a pack of 15 there last year elk hunting. Still had some elk in the area but they were run down and on the MOVE!!!
