Me and my buddy have spent a total of 9 days on our Book Cliffs CWMU hunt since it opened September first. Here is the buck he shoot on day 7. Its 29 1/2 wide, got good forks and gross scores 184. A real crappy picture i know, but its the only one thats small enough to post it says..

We went home after nine days after a couple of close calls with a giant 205" typical. I just never could get a shoot on him. heading to the horns to hunt elk friday, and as soon as i get home its back to chasing the giant typical! the hunt is open till november 12 so i still have plenty of time, i wanted him in velvet but dark hard horn will do

Elk weren't bugling here in Idaho, must be to hot. They were screaming last week. We did see 4 cows and a raghorn he had no interest in us.

the bow hunting season start on Oct. 1st in Iowa. I have a cuddeback trail cam to shot some pic of deers. this is the one i am hoping to get. this buck been around here for few months now.

Lace up your boats and start hiking. We probably each hiked over 30 miles in 4 days. No1 else was killing anything, we never ever saw another dead elk and there were TONS of camps. It takes ALOT of hiking and patience to do what we did. pics are now up in my post in the Wyo section. It was a hard hunt

Kill the wolves! All of them!!!!!!!

week long hunt in the grovont near jackson hole wyoming. ran in to game warden. there are 3 wolf packs that winter in the valley. one pack had 15 new pups this year. they are killing all the elk in the area. we saw 0 elk all week. the game wareden said they see atleast two fresh kills everyday on their patrol by the road. not to mention what they dont see from the road. the wolves just kill for sport they do not even eat the kill. we need to do something about the wolves...like kill them! only thing to do. all the game and fish will do is cut back hunting season evey year then just shut it down for god due to the lack of elk in area. i personaly want more elk and less (no) wolves here keep them up north and in state parks. they are killers
