HRP rolled chain case....Help

Long story short. My buddy lawn darted his 01 800 and totalled the tunnel last year. At the snow show I found a complete tunnel with an HRP rolled chain case that the seller said would bolt right up with his stock chain case. He was apparently wrong. Does anyone know what you have to run for a chain case in this application?:beer;

HRP never made a rolled chaincase kit for the GenII rmks. I'm betting the tunnel you got was for an Edge... does it kick up back where your butt would be on the seat?

There are also 2 Edge tunnels/HRP rolls. One is the regular and one is the Escape. How big is the bottom hole on the chaincase side. Snap 2 pictures for me, one of each side of the tunnel, and either post them or email them to me (sled_guy@yahoo.com) and I can tell you better what it is.

I would guess that you could put an Edge chaincase (the right one for the roll) on it and run that. Problem will be the trailing arm mounts and footrests are different on an Edge than a GenII so I'm not sure how that stuff will lineup.

Is the jackshaft hole inside of the tunnel? Holz did make a rolled chaincase kit for the GenII. You changed out the GenII style case for an older polaris chaincase. 6.35"? c to c, XLT? I put one on my GenII.

Yes, the jack shaft is inside the tunnel. What year chaincase would fit this, and would his chain gears and jack shaft work with it?

Talked to Mark Holtz today, and SG is right. They didn't make a kit specifically for the gen 2 but adapted a kit using the XLT (he thinks) chaincase as stated above.

Thanks for the info
