HPV Roller dissasembly QUICK QUESTIOn

Taking apart my HPV secondary...Took the two half moon rings out and start to realease the tool, but helix just stays in place..maybe grime has cause it to stick? Is there anything else I need to remove? If not, any tricks? thanks~!

there is a washer under the two half moons, make shure that comes off also then it should come apart.

you compressed the helix to far..the splines are now jammed...just loosen tool a little and tap with dead blow hammer to release the pinch fit-BJ

Tap around the helix along the sides?

tried to ap with hammer around edge with tool losened...no avail...any other options? need to get off ASAP!
