Hps can?

Love mine. Fits great. I too was going to go with an SLP pipe set but have seen way too many of them cracked on Axys' already, and didn't want to spend extra coin on clutching at the moment. Didn't have too much time on the stock silencer so hard to say if I gained or lost any rpm but stock clutching at the given altitudes I'm pulling 8300 all day with 400 miles on mine currently. First vid makes it sound louder than it really is with the camera being directly below the sled - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dKcxBSahcI Second vid is POV so take it for what it's worth - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwsVbpF9RE8

Thanks. I gained 100-150 rpms on my 14. Just curious if ther is more to be had with the full slp setup. Weight loss looks to be within a pound of each other. I sure like the fit and finish of the hps better but it is a little louder

Running one on my 16 Axys and really like it. I don't think it's very loud at all...a little louder bite than stock but not overbearing!

Have a buddy that runs the SLP full pipe/can setup on the exact same sled...but we haven't been out together yet to compare performance but from what it sounds like it isn't that noticeable of a difference for the extra $350-$400.

INDY 500 - you mentioned stock clutching, what would be your set up for 5000-8000'? I've been playing with the helix's, but haven't found one i like yet. I also put on an HPS can, about 200 miles on the sled.

I really like the stock clutching with the only change being the primary weights. I dropped 66's in instead of the stock 64's.

A couple of buddies in our close riding group have the SLP pipe & can - we haven't squared off yet though, nor have i got enough time on their sleds to make the judgement call yet.

Thanks,
Jesse

I ran stock helix, stock primary and secondary springs, with 10-62s at anywhere from 8500-10500 feet and pulled a consistent 8200-8300. I didn't like the straight 40 helix so much at first but imo it gets better when the quick drive belt and clutch drive belt are broken in. At 1500 feet I ran the polaris gold spring with 10-70s and still pulled a consistent 8200-8300 anywhere I went. Have 325 miles at altitude, and 75 at 1500 ft so far.
