Hows the snow near Crooked Creek/Union Pass area????

Ive paid attention to the weather near crooked creek and near union pass, and ive noticed that its gotten warmer and the snow has sort of melted. Is there anyone out there right now or very recent that has noticed anything weird in the powder/snow? I know last year that when the snow melted, it formed like a top layer with air pockets, and you could just randomly fall through and get really screwed.

It got warm for a few days but didn't melt much. In some spots the snow got a little sugary but didn't really form a crust. We got about 12" last night with more in the forecast riding has been great.
