How's the riding within an hour of Sun Valley?

I'm trying to plan a riding trip (wanna take the normal trip to BC) but my riding buddy's sister has a nice place in Sun Valley that we can stay at. He's been reading about Fairfield? I figured I'd ask you guys. It's a 12 hour plus drive so I want to make sure we go somewhere where the riding's first class and preferably a 60-90 minute drive from where we're staying.

There is all kinds of killer terrain up in Smiley Creek and then also the roller hills 9 miles north of town right off of the highway. It all depends on the snow conditions as to wether it's epic or not. You can also ride back towards Fairfield Idaho at Chimney Creek (southwest on the other side of the mtns from Sun Valley about an hour drive). FUN stuff all around but it's not been the greatest snow this year.

the terrain up there is awesome.......tons of riding areas within an hour........went out today and it was epic up in the high country.......its spring in the valley....but up high the riding is epic
