How's everyone healing

I always end the season with a busted up sled, not a busted up body. So I guess I can't complain too much.:D

Well, my hip is healing up nicely and the right leg I broke in tree places is healed. Lost 30 lbs because of the accident, one way to loose weight for the ride.

Good on ya Gimp!!

Just a little story from my neighborhood this weekend...

A guy lives around the corner from me was running down sand mountain at lake powell and dove head first into shallow water putting him in a wheelchair with no movement below his chest. I figure that happened maybe 10 yrs or so ago....Anyway he was out cruising his raptor or rzr or what ever he has by himself in the hills behind our neighborhood and rolled it over. He hung upside down there for something like 12 hours until search and rescue was able to locate him. From what I heard his core body temp was down to below 80 when they life flighted him. Last I heard on Sunday he was in a drug induced coma while they continue to bring his temp back up....

Doesn't really apply here just thought of it when I saw Gimps post...

Holy Chit Blake. You're always around or hearing of mishap.

As for me. Taking Docs advice on shoulder and waiting it out (4 months now). No improvements thus far. 3K in Medical/MRi/X-rays/PT. Still pushing the limits at whatever I do. Rain may have helped slow me down. Been to Powell once and hittin AF on Thurs. for the first time on the bike.

What's the Ol sayin? No Pain No Gain?????
Not buying that.....................

No sleep till Nov.
Then I'll consider surgery.:(

That is some kinda trip, took my ATV up Cedar Hollow for a 7 hr ride a few weeks ago, man is it good to be back out even if it is on 4 wheels and not a track. My 8 year old got his license to drive on public land and he put his little polaris 50 places it shouldn't be able to go. Cann't waqit to get him out on his sled this winter. If your neighbor comes out of it have them contact me, I am paralyzed from the chest down and would love to take him out for some play time.

Hey Ron, what do you think about friday morning up AF canyon? I would need to leave by 1 for california, but that gives us a good 4 hours of ride time!

PU$$Y............................:p

(LOL) Who you callin PU$$Y? PU$$Y!!!! I got my shoulder taken care of now so that I (unlike you) won't be boobin about it this winter while everyone else is riding! At least you got a nice cabin to sit in and watch the sleds go by....

Speaking of sleds, since you will be on the DL I will be more than happy to put a few miles on your buggy for you, just to make sure it don’t get all rusty and chit....
