Hows cottonwood??

Tracked up bad. I was up there yesterday and the snow was decent but it was tracked up big time.

Sorry bout that....

I was up there with my crew for the first time in month wed-fri and by sat I would agree with you that by the weekend it got tracked up bad... For what its worth wed and thurs were over the hood pow days..

I live in bv and have been going over to CB to ride as they have 2x the snow that is on cottonwood and way more than taylor park..

Unless "the wood" gets hit hard I will be headed to CB, wolfer, or sliverton when I ride again..

Thats ok you can tear up Cottonwood. We usually only use it to commute over to the TP side. We were there Thursday thru Sunday, we had the Silver/Gray Ford pickup with the White enclosed trailer right infront of the Denny Creek lot. We rode Napoleon Pass and left 2 of the 4 of our sleds there for the night because I dropped down into a meadow and could not get out. I knew that I was introuble when I was getting stuck on flat ground with my 800. OOOPPPSSS!!!! We also rode Taylor Pass and that was great up there, just don't follow my tracks into the creek!!!! The last day we were headed up to Italian but one of the sleds broke and by the time we fixed it it was late so we came back to Cottonwood and it was good exploring areas that we have not hit. There are just to many people that ride on the east side.

To test avalanch conditions.... just look up. I think on this 4 day trip I saw teh most slides that I have ever seen in my life. Some BIG ones and some regular size ones. Up on Taylor there was slabs as big as a Semi.
