Anyone shooting a Howa .204 with the Axiam stock? I ordered one today. Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

what problems are u seeing with them Nate. As much as they want for them a person would think they are a good gun.

Its a weaker action, you cant load too hot of loads in the gun, the bolt sticks reguarly, the twist in the barrel doesnt match the caliber you shoot, have had the stock crack, the trigger needs massive work.
Just some things I have noticed. But like I said im super picky, I dont buy factory ammo for much of any gun I own and I expect the gun to drive tacs at 100 yards
Its a combination of things, like a mod sled, cant have a nice big motor and have stock clutching, just dont work. Every gun needs a combination to work

I'll stick with my 300 H & H for a while I guess
I havent been around the howa rifles alot but i know the ones i have seen have kind of had a loose action like nate said and are kinda cheesy built. However the 204 is a great caliber. I had one built a couple months ago from dtech arms on a AR action, an man it is awesom so far. it has a 1-14 twist an im shooting berger 35 gr lead out of it, and using vlc-2 powder, an this gun is shooting great! they are alot of fun. i chronographed it last weekend at 4050 fps an its keeping five in a half inch at 100yds! good luck!
