How weather tight are the Truckboss Decks?

Considering a Truckboss Deck. If I got one, I would want to leave it on all season. I have a Weather Guard cross bed tool box in the bed of my truck with a bunch of my work tools in it. If I went to the deck, I would go with their roll out tool box option, but wondering how dry things stay with the deck on there.

I know with a tonneau cover I still get a ton of powder that sucks into the bed.

I have seen some bed weatherstrip kits that are supposed to seal up around the tailgate and any gaps in the bed.

Just wondering if anyone has any input.

So I just bought the Truckboss deck and spent that last few nights putting it together. While I haven't been able to test it in weather yet I feel it is going to be sealed up pretty good. They have a seal up front and in the back. Sides are sealed too. I really don't think I will get any water or snow in the bed at all. Only place would be from the tailgate itself. But not because of the deck but the gap in the tailgate to the truck sides. After this weekend I may have to wash it so I will see how it holds up to the pressure washer.

It took me about 10 hrs total by myself to install it. Could have been done quicker but I checked and double checked and sometimes triple checked just to make sure before I started drilling into my truck. I highly recommend watching the installation videos before you even open a box. They have done a great job explaining how to put this all together. It made the process so much easier to put together. I then watched the video as i put it together. Only thing I would recommend is to lay out every single thing you are going to put on top of your deck before you screw anything down. I had to take things off a couple times because I forgot to add the accessories I needed where I needed them. i.e. D Rings, Super clamp hooks, ski glides, dirt bike mount. etc. Just lay them out and put them in order of how they go before you start screwing stuff down. It will be much easier and you won't have to take thing off to put something else on.

Here are a few pictures of mine during install and finished. I got some flat black vinyl and put down so I have a black deck. Not sure how long it will last but we will see how it holds up. I shouldn't have too much stuff that actually sits on that part of the deck so I think it should hold up pretty good.

I have had mine a couple weeks and they are by no means water tight. go thru a car wash and it will be plenty wet on the inside

That's disappointing to hear.
Do you know where the water is getting in at?
