I wanna wire a extra hand warmer to put inside my handlebar bag to keep the electronics from freezing.

Where is the best place to pull power from for this?

I would like to also like to use this power for a lead dog light if possible?????

Pull that power from the headlight AC circuit... for the lead dog... no problem as that is a halogen light... I'm a fan of the Cyclops halogen... more durable.

To do it cleanly.... Plug it into the "AC PWR" connector with this part # 571-1-480305-9 (connector) and # 571-606194 (female pins) from mouser.com

Less than a couple of bux.... order extra pins so you can re-do it if necessary. Heck...order some extra connector housings and pins just to have since they cost almost nothing.

I'd really like to see a 7.5 amp fuse on that line you are making.

BTW... that connector is in the nylon/velcro pouch on top/front of the clutch guard.

ok and use :musicnote:the same power outlet for the extra handwarmer to? i wont run both the light and warmer at the same time but will have them on the same plug at the handlebar so i can have either the bag warmer plugged in or use the lead dog if needed.

Yep... cant stress using the fuse inline enough!!

ALSO...This is AC power... NOT DC... you cant run LED/HID's... or other 12VDC accessories from this connection.
