How to test stator?

Since my other thread isnt getting the veiws i need ill make a new one.

Anyways, i see that people have posted HOW to test the stator. However i must be missing something cause i dont see WHERE to test the stator. Like where do i find the wires to test. Am i just missing this? Do i have to remove the stator?

remove the seat and gas tank; there are two black connectors that you unplug and the wires that you test are located there. Test the connectors with the cables running to the mag side (i.e., those going to your stator)

If you have an 05 (not sure if this is applicable to the 06), you may want to pull the flywheel and look for separation. Mine just failed and cut the wires at the stator. Additionally, I had a hole in the part that separates which caused an open in one of my stator coils. If yours hasn't separated then it may only be a matter of time.

Ok, as far as i can tell the stator is testing good.
