How to stiffen the rear suspension?

Call Toms skidoo in Sierra City he has the spring upgrade.....My sleds are buried in the trailer or i would get the part # for you. 2. Also consider a shock upgrade from Fox again Tom's can line you up.

Another simple trick is a inlarged R/L blocks.... By doing this it will stiffen the stock springs beyond what the stock block size allow's. PM me if you need a set $79.00 there CNC'd Aluminum available for XP, REV and Summit sleds.

The sag and rebound of any stock XP,Rev,Summit skidoo if you weigh over 225# pound's needs to be adjusted to your weight and riding style accordingly.

My XP:

Fox center and rear shock
Block upgrade
Softer center spring, upper/lower
Stiffer L/R rear springs
Longer limiter strap Mainly for more holes which equals longer adjustment range. Which helps keeps the front end floating in deep snow.

Call toms he will hook you up with everything you need. Been runing his suspension stuff since 1995.

Sag is not the only issue....The feeze thaw cycle with any shock make the preformance of the shock difficult regardless of the oil, valving or air/blatter being used.. The change in outsid temps, along with the condensation and over night freeze cycle are tough on shocks.

Having a heated space for sleds over night is key to having good suspension the next morning,

You lose HP and have to work twice as hard if you sleds rear suspension can not transfer the power to the track due to a poor suspension setup.

Go to just about any motorized racing event.... Supension has away of making HP.
