How to remove coolant tank

Remove the post/spar that sits across it, then disconnect all hoses, and it should pop right out. Done it 4 times because of bad plastic welds in the tank, quicker each time...

Thank the you. I removed the two bolts on the spar but cant pull the spar out. Does the steering up top have to come apart?

Sorry, I forgot that part. If you can`t wiggle it out, loosen the bolts on the part that keps the 4 spars together, and pull the spar upwards.

Thanks I have really been battling with it.

What do you normally do? This spar does not want to come out. Do I need to completely unbolt the other spars or just enough to get the top piece to wiggle?

I assume it needs to work inwards/outwards from the bottom shock mount base?

I was doing the same thing just days ago. I ended with un-screw all of the bolts the connects to the top plate where the steering support braket seats.

Simply to get enough play to get the spar out if the way.

When I was bolting back together( I am stilling doing it) I rolled the sled originally and the water leak was a something that I saw when I was checking out the damage. I think the water leak is something the just happend, but not connected to to the roll.

Anyway the steering support bar that bolts to the chaincase broke the piece on the chaincase where the bar sits. And now when I am trying to bolt it back in place it is missing the screw hole at the "top plate" by a 1/2" nothing looks bent so I just dont understand why it wont line up.
