2017 KTM 450 SX W/129" CMXBK 291.6 The bike weighed 229 in dirt form (It has 1 gallon of gas in it). 129" CMXBK adds 62.6 lbs from dirt to snow! CMX ROCKS!!!

Just saw this on the CMX page. CMX does ROCK!!!

Kind of looks like the track is still on the ground?

Pretty good, being under 300 pounds. Of course we all ride with 2 gallons of gas in our bike, hand guards, skid plate, thermo Bob, etc. etc. Still, impressive!

Looks like the track is sagging off the hyfax but what do I know? CMX built a kit and mounted on a customer's bike and showed a picture. Sorry it wasn't built like your tank. CMX is putting out light weight equipment that holds up.

Thanks Mark and the guys for trying to improve the sport.

the Yeti Snowmx 120 is a great option! It's super lightweight and the track is smaller allowing for that dirt bike feel. We have 2017 Yeti packages, and Timbersleds - each on the site ready to be shipped!

Put wheels on it:peep:

Cut the track down to 11 inches helps.

Try to move as much weight back -- Handlebars and Foot-pegs as far back as possible (To lighten up the frond end). Both the Timbersled SX and CMX have the skid moved as far forward as possible for better Balance that helps as well. That is about as far as you can go with the Available kits. The single rail of the Camso may be promising but I have no experience with it.

Joking pal.

that weight is accurate. I have a cmx 129 with 17 factory edition sx and it is 289lb, only due to the ti muffler and a couple other goodies., The CMX is the real deal and the approach angle climbs on top quickly.

My setup

Tedesled 137" on exc 500 full of fuel and ready to ride with saddle bags, toolkit, first aid kit, gps etc. 313 lbs.
