how to make 01 800 mxz into a ho 800

what are the differences between the normal 800 engine and the 800 high output engine. I have a 01 800 mxz, how much would it take to make the engine into a ho

The basic difference between the HO and the non-HO is that the HO has ported cylinders.
You can have the cylinders ported by any number of places, and it generally adds around 8hp???

doesn't the HO have a higher compression head too? 13.5:1

RKT can fix all of that... ported, RKT head and a drop in kit and you will be in the 155 hp range on pump gas... look at the big bore kits for 165-172 hp!

The port timing is different on the HO jugs and the head had more compression.
