How to install V Force 3 reeds in 06 700 RMK

I'm rebuilding my 700 and along with numerous other pieces I had to replace the reeds. The local aftermarket talked me into ordering the V Force 3 reeds, and I also ordered the Kimpex boots.

When installing the reeds, I'm having a problem getting the boots to properly seat. The instructions in the reeds said to use the old cage and a washer that is supposed to come in the kit (didn't) and a hacksaw to trim the rubber.

We modified and used a razor blade and one side looks good, but the other appears to have a slight gap along the top. The whole thing seems to be a little Mickey Mouse to me, so wanted to know what others have done?

U can double up pedals with stock..v force reeds are junk and wear quickly..if they are lifted it will cause lots of running issues

Boyesen are a better product and don't crumble like V force .. mine did not last long enough to make it worth $.
