How to Install led lights on 2016 crf450R???

Hi guys,

This is my first post and thanks for this awesome forum.

I've tried to search about that in the forum but I've found nothing,

So I want to install a led light bar on my 2016 crf450R but I'm no very good at the electrical portion. Can somebody give my an hand on this one? Which wire do I need to cut? Rectifier?....??

It would be really appreciated,

Thanks for your time,:face-icon-small-hap

Baja Designs has a switch that hooks into your bike for power for around $40. and I use a $30 ebay led light. 30 watts, I think 40 watts max for our bike. Barkbuster clamps for custom mount to handlebars.

I have a light bar on my CR500 powered snowbike with the electric start and a 100w stator with heated grips but to be honest for night time work I am digging my helmet light set up more. I got the dual helmet light set up from Task racing, it will run both lights on high off the battery pack for 4 hours, I have 4 battery packs and can go all night. The only places I prefer the light on the front of the bike are high speed....like above speeds I think my snowbike might even go. In baja the helmet light worked killer for filling in the gap between where the baja race light on front of the bike was and all that middle ground. I used the helmet light out in the dunes one night on my fully ported sand CR and you can outrun the light at probably around 50mph. No wires to run, you can stuff the whole setup in your pack or tunnel bag, the lights velcro to the top of your helmet with that industrial style velcro, and they are bright and shine where you are looking not where your front end is pointed. For the snow bike they are the shiz.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have a 13 crf450r and read that the drive sprocket is moved out 3.8 mm. How does this effect the timbersled jackshaft sprocket for alignment? I believe from 13-16 they did this...
