How to import a sled when it's already in the country?

I found a pretty sweet deal online for a Nytro, I just spoke with the guy and he is staying here in BC but he is from Montana and he has the sled registered in Montana. Anyone have any idea on how I could legally "import" it if it's already here??

To do it legit you would need to go to the border and export it out of the US side and then import it on the CDN side. http://riv.ca

Thanks I was just looking on the site, I'm going to call them tomorrow to get the straight goods. Sounds like a pain, I wonder if I showed up at the border with the sled to cross into the states so I could re-import it if they would seize it? I wouldn't be concerned with importing it but I don't think I can insure it without it being registered?

Ask noob ,he's imported lots, I don't think it's a good idea for you to take it back across, have the MT owner do it you buy it down there and then you bring it home. That way you're golden,no jail time, nobodys girlfriend while in the BIG HOUSE.HE HE!Customs tend not to have a sense of humor.
