how to fix the annyoing bog in the 800 assault

hey guys i have a 2009 assault 800 with 1200 miles. it runs great has the april 09 update . somtimes it great and never misses a beat other times i cant climb a small hill cause asoon as i open it up it will hit 8250rpm then drop to 7700 with a mean nasty bog. what can i do to fix this . plugs are a black/brown.

just had the same issue with my 09 d8. when mine did it my check engine light would come on also when it cut down. is it making a " wah wah wah wah" sound? i was told it has something to do with the new april flash that was out and it makes your det sensor act really sensitive. also after i was told that, i pulled my exhaust sensors and looked down them to check on my pisons, that where i found some damage and now i'm in a rebuild.

my check engine light is on all the time. no wah wah wah wah sound just seems like its not getting enough fuel yet the plugs look good. ill maybe try a power comander. do you guys know if i send my powercomander from my old grizzly 700 back tot hem that they could re program it?

The Power Commander needs different plugs to plug into the ECU. You can program your own power Commander.

So you basically need a new and different one with the correct ECU plugs.

i had a similar bog over a slightly broader band of RPM, popped on the PCV, and the thing rips now. been really happy with the results, now i just need a Challenger Extreme, then i'll be reasonably good!
