How to delete old pictures to free up space?

Since the site has put so many limitations on things lately, I see that the pictures you want to upload and save to the site have also been limited.. since I have been a member and posted many pictures, I am of coarse now over my limit. I am wanting to remove these pictures from the posts I have them listed in and since I cannot delete the posts or the pictures, how do I get these removed so I can once again post pictures. I know I can use a hosting site ans post that way, but I dont always want to do that. I went into the user CP and it allowed me to removed a bunch of them, but they were only the newest photo's. The remainder that are still there do not have the option to remove these so I have no idea how I can come in under my allowed of amount of pictures if I cant delete them or the posts they are in... Anyone help me out here?? what am I missing??

They don't want you to be able to delete the pics, that's why you can no longer edit older posts either. They don't want you to delete your contributions. Pretty petty isn't it?

It really makes no sense that you can delete some pics but not others.

Hey Christopher, would you please address this? Is it a bug in the system?

That is why you should use photobucket. It lets you link better pics and in an event like this you can delete them all and nothing SW can do about it. The more information they can control, the more the hope to make a profit off it.

Why has nobody answered this question? This is part of the frustration with this site.. We dont get the answers when the questions are asked..

The truth is that every old post is locked so that all the poeple that provided the info and content for free cant remove it now that snowest is charging others to view it, but not paying those that contributed it.

I know why they did it, just dont think it was thought out very well.. If they are going to put limitations on things, they should make it where the people with these limitations can actually use them. Since I have been a member here for awhile I have posted a few pictures which now puts me over the limit allowed, but since I have no way of removing them I can NEVER be under this limit with the way things are being setup. Again this is where the problem lies. I come here to voice a legitimate concern and it goes nowhere. I could PM everbody on here, but I shouldnt have to. I posted in the correct section designated for this type of issue, didnt I?

yes you did, but my bet is they where to short sighted and greedy to consider this, so there is no answer, otherwise there would have been a post right away with the solution

There are two image systems on SnoWest.

ALBUMS and ATTACHMENTS.

Which one is telling you that you are over your limit?

I believe the point of not allowing it is to make your limitations so you buy the premium membership.

I just host all my pictures through photobucket. makes it easier

I was stating about photobucket that way you can remove them later if you dont want them on a site
