How tall of risers for a 6'4" rider?

Anyone wanna give me their experience with handlebar risers on the old iron? I ride a 96 Summit, bone stock but for a set of better skis.

I'm 6'4", so I'd like to put on a big rise, somewhere between 8-10 inches. I see several guys on the mod sled pic thread with risers and I wondered what the recommendations, caveats, products that won't fit, how tall is too tall, etc are. I already know I have to extend the throttle, brake and hand warmer lines. Is it best to just replace the whole cable or can I use extensions with no issues?

Hunching over to powder turn and sidehill is getting old. Pic included to give me the smallest bit of street cred. :-)

Mine are 6" risers with 1.5" pivot adapter (7.5" total), im 6'1" and could have gotten away with the 8" risers... If i were you i'd get atleast the 8" riser, you will also need (i got powermadd brand) a pivot adapter, throttle extension and new brake line, the new brake like is like 10" longer and is braded stainless steel, the throttle extension adds about the same or more, you unhook the throttle line from the lever, hook that into the extension and the extension hooks back into the lever. As for re-wireing the handwarmers, i would just tie in some new wire, cut the old ends off and crimp on some more wire, vwolla! My riser was like $50-60 i think, pivot adapter was mabey $40? Throttle extension was around $30 and the brake line was somewhere around there, so for around $150-$200, you'l be set.
